NAPMM 79th Annual Conference: Detroit, Michigan - March 12-15, 2025

We’re thrilled to announce that our 79th (!) annual conference will be held at the venerable Eastern Market in Detroit from March 12-15, 2025. Recently, the Eastern Market was recognized as one of the 10 best markets in America by USA TODAY! 

Eastern Market CEO Dan Carmody and his staff will showcase how this market became an integral part of Detroit’s renaissance; how it has stabilized and expanded the local food economy; and how it has helped small and large food-related companies prosper by creating an affordable “Food Zone” in the heart of the city. 

The conference will also feature learning opportunities and tours of the many flourishing community gardens in Detroit; the Gratiot Central Meat Market; and the Detroit Produce Terminal. We’ll also get a detailed update on the Cornell/USDA Wholesale Market Study that’s currently in its final phases.
